Job Description	Investment Banking Attorney : 1000016702 US-NY-New York Description This attorney will provide legal support to Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Corporate and Investment Banking Group with a focus on providing legal advice in connection with M&A transactions. This attorney will also be expected to provide legal support on securities law and general corporate law matters; draft and negotiate engagement letters, confidentiality agreements and fairness opinions.; advise and assist in connection with information walls and conflicts management issues and policies; and work with members of the Compliance Department to develop and maintain policies and procedures for the Corporate and Investment Banking Group. Provide training to investment bankers in selected areas, including the Global Research Settlement, anti-tying and information walls.   Qualifications Required Skills: Minimum 6-10 years relevant legal experience at a top-tier law firm with some experience as counsel to financial advisors in M&A transactions. Strong M&A and general securities (1933 Act and 1934 Act) background required. Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to influence with impact, build trusted relationships with clients and team members, and deal constructively with conflicts.
