Job Description	Job ID: 29772 Description: This position will be located in Somerset, NJ Position Overview Aon Consulting seeks an attorney to join our growing National Tax and ERISA Practice. Our successful candidate will experience growth opportunities in virtually all areas of employee benefit, tax and ERISA matters involving qualified plans (e.g., 401(k), cash balance, ESOPs), health and welfare plans, mergers and acquisitions, VEBAs and 401(h) accounts, executive and nonqualified benefits, including SERPs, excess and deferral plans, and evaluating legislative and regulatory developments. Strong research and writing capabilities along with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team are essential criteria for a successful candidate. Primary Accountabilities * Employee benefit consulting involving tax and ERISA issues on behalf of large and mid-sized clients in a myriad of industries * Tax and ERISA research * Tax and ERISA consulting as part of large, multi-disciplined teams * Employee and executive benefit plan drafting * Due diligence Qualifications Law degree and admission to any state bar. Relevant experience with a law firm (approx 1-3 years) with specialization in employee benefits including, pension and 401(k) plans, health and welfare plans, regulatory compliance, due diligence, etc. Strong research and writing skills required. Strong team work and collaboration, along with effective and sufficient support to consulting leads enable results-oriented solutions to client base while ensuring Aon’s goals and strategies are met.
