Role Summary/Purpose The Counsel, Legal Affairs will provide legal support relating to the development, production and exploitation of advertising and other sponsored content for the NBC Universal Television Group. The position will focus on advertising and marketing, including production of custom-produced ads and promotional material, in all media. Essential Responsibilities Legal work involves: * Draft, review and negotiate brand integration, advertising and promotional deals with sponsors, and related agreements; * Negotiate, draft, review and interpret talent contracts; * Review advertising materials for regulatory compliance, guild considerations and intellectual property matters; * Counsel advertising and marketing and other executives regarding legal issues relating to their business.
